Ihab Botros

Ihab has been diagnosed and lived with kidney disease since his late teenage years. In 2011, he experienced kidney failure and underwent different kidney dialysis methods and treatments including a living kidney transplant from his loving wife. Due to his significant experience as a patient with kidney disease, Ihab decided to share his knowledge by authoring his book “One Needle at a Time” as well as joining Kidney CARE Network International as a volunteer. Ihab helps bring the patient’s perspective, needs and daily challenges to the group, in an attempt to accomplish the organization’s mission of improving the quality of life and health outcomes of people with chronic kidney disease.
